When your claim is accepted into the ClaimBack42 program, you may receive C42 utility tokens as a recognition of your effort, documentation and contribution to our financial intelligence work. This page explains how the reward guideline works, who can receive C42, and what C42 is – and is not.
What This Program Is

- It does not replace your legal rights or claims against scammers or intermediaries.
Who Can Receive C42 Rewards?
C42 rewards are available to accepted claimants in the ClaimBack42 program. In practice, this means:
- You have submitted a claim via ClaimBack42.com.
- Your claim has passed our triage and eligibility review and has been accepted.
- You have provided truthful information and documentation, and cooperate with follow-up questions.
- You pass basic sanctions and fraud-prevention checks.
Submitting a claim does not automatically entitle you to C42. Rewards are only considered for claims that are accepted into the program after our internal review.
How C42 Rewards Are Calculated (Current Guideline)
To keep the program simple and transparent, we use a loss-based guideline with a degressive progression. The idea: higher documented losses can receive higher rewards, but not in a linear way that would drain the program.

This grid is a program guideline. It is designed to be easy to understand while protecting the long-term sustainability of the ClaimBack42 and C42 programs.
Simple Illustrative Examples
- Example 1 – €5,000 loss: Treated entirely in Band 1 → up to 500 C42 tokens (5,000 / 10).
- Example 2 – €15,000 loss: First €10,000 → up to 1,000 C42; next €5,000 → up to 250 C42 (5,000 / 20). Baseline guideline total: up to 1,250 C42 tokens.
- Example 3 – €30,000 loss: First €10,000 → up to 1,000 C42; next €10,000 → up to 500 C42; remaining €10,000 → up to 200 C42 (10,000 / 50). Baseline guideline total: up to 1,700 C42 tokens.

- C42 rewards are a program recognition mechanism. They are not compensation, do not replace legal claims and do not reduce any rights you may have against scammers, payment providers or other parties.
- C42 does not entitle you to any share of recoveries, revenues or profits, and there is no redemption right or guarantee of value.
- The reward grid above is a guideline. Final rewards remain discretionary and depend on factors such as verification of your information, the quality of documentation, anti-fraud checks and the overall reward budget.
- ClaimBack42 and CyTel42 may update the reward guidelines or suspend rewards at any time in order to protect the integrity and sustainability of the program.
- Receiving C42 does not mean that your claim will be successful or that any funds will be recovered. Recovery outcomes depend on legal, technical and enforcement factors outside our control.
Claimant Reward Program – FAQ
Do I automatically receive C42 if I submit a claim?
No. C42 rewards are only considered for claims that are accepted into the ClaimBack42 program after our triage and eligibility review. Submitting a claim is not a guarantee of acceptance or of any reward.
Is C42 a form of compensation for my loss?
No. C42 rewards are not compensation, reimbursement or insurance. They recognise your contribution to our financial intelligence work but do not replace any legal claims you may have.
Does the reward formula mean C42 has a fixed value?
No. The formula is a reward guideline, not a valuation formula. C42 has no redemption right, is not pegged to any currency and has no guaranteed value. Any market price results only from supply and demand on third-party venues that may choose to list the token.
What happens if my documented loss changes later?
If new information or documentation significantly changes your documented loss, we may review your case. However, rewards are discretionary and there is no automatic right to additional C42.
Can I still join the C42S monetization program if I receive C42?
Potentially, yes. C42 rewards and the optional C42S claim monetization path are separate. C42 rewards do not prevent you from being invited to explore a Claim Monetization Agreement (CMA) on C42Securities.com, subject to eligibility, KYC/AML and legal requirements.
Can the program or reward rules change in the future?
Yes. To protect the integrity and sustainability of the program, ClaimBack42 and CyTel42 may update the reward guidelines, temporarily suspend rewards or adjust parameters over time. Any material changes will be communicated via our official channels.
